The Importance of Retirement
I still to this day find the greatest flow state while, while programming. If I had nothing but free time and could live off my assets, I would probably spend most of my time either on economic policy or learning about economic policy. The benefit of retirement is not turning your brain off so much as having the flexibility to be able to spend time on what you're most interested in.
