We consider the good and the bad because we are grown ups. We're deciding what to read, not who to worship. Life is full of villains and villainous behavior. Just like we don't need to require that everyone read those books or like those books. This is about us people, is readers. If it works for us, if the book works for us then that's great for us. If it doesn't, who needs it? We can move on.
