Linus: Github creates absolutely useless garbage merges, and you should never ever use the GitHub inter face to merge anything. Linus goes on to note that, to him, github creates totally worthless commit messages as well. He kind of hits the nail on the head with this point when he says, the lennox colonel merges need to be done properly. But file servers builtin the colonel aside.
