"I believe sports is at a precipice and that's macroeconomics which is a term that was mentioned multiple times across the two days where you combine macroeconomics with cost of living crisis fragmentation. I do think it's an interesting time not to be pessimistic I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about things but if I'm trying to be optimistic what I'm hoping perhaps is if there is less money in the pie people will also be smarter," he says. "The economic model is fundamentally broken because going back 10 years plus plus plusplus the growth of sports is because everyone watched it."
