Primary Care Docs - What's Happening in 2012?
In 2012, the rules for accountable care are published by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. If you get a group of primary care docs together and you gain accountability for the total cost of care for the patients they care for, if those costs come down, we will give you half of that, those savings. It's a fundamental rewriting of the incentive structure of American healthcare.
