GT Advanced and Apple - What's the Difference?

GT Advanced agreed to be responsible for errors and warranty issues in the fabrication process. Apple had gotten its iPhone glass, I think they call it Gorilla Glass, previously from Corning. It was making a switch for the purpose of developing this new technology. GT Advanced essentially put itself on the line for something that it could not control.
