The Importance of Being a Loving Child of God

When you paint something and you're not worried about what other people think about it, I find that profoundly spiritual. The entire exercise is can you get out of the way? Yeah. Do you know how to step aside and stop thinking about is this perfect? Is this work? This is all spirituality. What spirituality is saying is get out of right, wrong, yes, no, good, bad, and just let the sediment settle on your awareness or in your case in your painting and let it be.
