Clarence Thomas' Ethical Lapse
I'm disappointed that someone who is a hardworking, thoughtful man had that kind of ethical lapse. I think it's not good for our democracy. And I'm surprised that he's put himself in that position. Thomas did work very hard to get where he is today, but he's also had a lot of help from John Danforth and George H.W. Bush. Harlan Crow has flown Thomas around the world on his private jet and paid for his grand nephew's private school tuition. In Thomas' hometowns, Crow's fingerprints are everywhere.
