The Long List of Atrocities Committed Against the Jews
Earlier drafts of the Declaration counted as seemingly endless list of atrocities committed against Jews. But Ben-Gurion chose to shorten the list, focusing more on Jewish accomplishments in the Yeshua than on the wrongs of the past. He felt that so soon after the Holocaust, there was little point in enumerating the centuries of hatred.
