A new Gallup poll shows Americans have less faith in higher education than at any point on record. Just 36% of Americans express a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in the institution, down from 57% eight years ago. The biggest drop though came among Republicans with 19% saying they're not sure about colleges. Democrats are the only demographic where most people still feel that way - 59%.
