Mark Whitaker: Not a single text from the youngest person that i know in my family, or second youngest, ends with a period. He says texting has a kind of intimate, familiar kind of mood to it that gets a little warped by putting a period at the end of the sentence. "I think your younger colleagues are out here doing you a service," Whitaker adds.
