There are ways in which certain systems can actually benefit from perturbations. Nesim Talib defined anti-fragility more than 10 years ago as the opposite of fragility. To be able to design anti-Fragial systems, you need to know what would be the magnitude of the perturbations they will have to deal with. That's tricky precisely because of computational reducibility.
