Is God Joining Two People Together?

Jesus is referring back to Genesis as the authority on his answer about marriage. When two people are joined together in a fleshly way and participate in that activity, they are sealing the covenant. Do you know what the sign of marriage is? Sexuality. There's something powerful in this covenant that man is not intended to separate. People have taken some of those scriptures and used them to abuse people that are divorced. I think God has a grace and a mercy. And there are other passages in the scripture that teach us about these things.
