I've Been Attacked by Traditional Catholics, but No More?

There seems to be something particularly nasty about the progressive style of attack. Wonder if some of it is the self righteousness, because they're convinced that all mankind must agree with them in order even to qualify as really being human. So if your opponents aren't even really people, then you can treat them with absolute, unremitting contempt. It's the kind of movement that has to consume itself - what about progressives who were willing to go this far, but no farther? When the next revolution comes, they will be the first victims.
