The Unapologetic Hip Hop Movie
The right thing is unapologetically right hip hop movie. Like this is, you know, whether we're talking about the Jordan's or radio Rahim's boom box. Spike Lee is channeling that hip hop energy in 1989 in a way that most films hadn't caught on to yet. And it kind of has that too, where the kids I knew who went to watch the movie, they wanted to talk like the characters.
