Albania was a mess by the end of 1914, there were six different regimes claiming to be the rightful government. Turkey meanwhile had virtually ceased to be part of Europe and the great powers who had once propped up the sick man of Europe had basically taken him off life support. And that left Turkey looking around for a powerful ally. They chose to entrust the training and administration of their army to Germany. What if they entered the First World War as Germany's ally?
