I Want Something to Change

There is an alternative vision of patriotism that can be a propulsion for something fantastic, says the author. He believes we need to create a society in which most people would be happy and keen to build on any part of it. But worry that this pessimistic vision of the future actually puts more pressure on our society because everybody feels like things are about to go ofer rails. And so if we want to get people on board, i think we have to have a more positive vision of how we might actully be able to create a better world.
