The Light Pirate by Lily Brooks Dalton
The book I picked up was Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe, and this is about the Sackler family who's a very wealthy family. And so because of my experience with Bad Blood and She Said, this sounded like it was right up that same alley but I got stuck like 20, 30% through the book. Like I would read 10 pages one day and then five pages the next day and then half of the next page the next day. It just wasn't enjoyable or interesting to read for me.
