I think that once you're past a certain age, you're not allowed. There's so much sexism baked in all of it. The whole thing around this album is just like, presuming that she's dressing this way to manipulate or try to hold on to a youth. I'm kind of reacting to this as a trans woman where like, I sort of had to live a very different life for a very long time. Once I started really allowing myself to embrace all these things that made me feel good in such a way that I could never like put my hands on, it changes everything inside of you.
