Are the Armies, the Allies, Armies?
All state institutions have collapsed. There are no police, fire brigades or bureaucracis managing food distribute. These these people have just been through four or five years of savage fighting. They're not built institutionally to do a lot of things, but they had to. It's one of the reasonsthe american that we ended up sticking around over there like an you now. And it meant we didn't have to remobilize when the soviet union became obviously aggressive a couple years hiter. We'll talk about some of the decisions made as you get into the cold war next episode.
