There aren't enough of them to support theater or to support publishing here in Chicago. So as a result, you've got a guy who's really good and has developed in his own scene without all this influence. He sits around and hopes and then he gets real mad at Chicago, like I did. And then finally you don't get mad anymore. You say, okay, if it's not here, I'm not going to become a butcher. That's because there's no audience, so you go to New York. That's where you sell your stuff.
