A recent article in Jacobite claimed that Marxists don't like considering the hard technical question of how to design a good government. This would explain why their own governments so often fail. In trying to think of how a Marxist might respond to this attack, I thought of commenter No Bear So Lowe's Conflict Versus Mistake Dicotomy. Two massively oversimplified perspectives: conflict theorists treat politics as war; mistake theorists view debate as essential.
