The Importance of Reaching Diverse Audiences

Players play as one of 14 diverse characters, a mother, toddler, street cleaner or tourist. Action cards can throw up obstacles like pollution or traffic and nudge cards help players understand the potential impact of their decisions. We wanted to highlight planning, urban design and individual behaviour factors because they are all connected. You cannot walk if you don't have the infrastructure, so you can't change behaviour if there's no infrastructure. Without mixed use, where are you walking to? So you can improve public space, but then if there's nothing in public space, then there's a connection between all these elements.
