How to Lose Weight Without Metrics

I went from the mid 180s to the low 170s without doing it like without measuring anything, not even taking my weight. Didn't weigh any food, kind of just stay weight stable. The only thing he had to do was stop eating processed foods and like I limited his portion of carbohydrates at those two meals. And so this will piss a lot of people off who struggle with weight loss. He probably is burning a lot more calories than normal people because he has more fat free mass. If you're in conditioned where you could be competitive why wouldn't you take it that next step? Obviously there's there's lots of barriers there potentially but I'd love to hear from you.
