I've noticed that the more time I spend speaking Japanese, the more my thoughts are like those of a Japanese speaker. That's why I feel like to really get my Japanese to the next level, I would have to be using Japanese more than I use English. To do that, I have some system setup that make it really easy. The most click baity video that grabs my attention is going to be in Japanese. It almost doesn't matter what language it's in.
