The Calvinist's View on Slavery
The idea that slaves and masters are on the same spiritual plane really did help end slavery. But he also condemns the slave trade in this which is interesting. He acknowledges its inequities and disturbing implications but takes a, sorry, a providential view of the institution. So it's a necessary evil and it serves some positive good in God's decree.
