As a Jew by ethnicity, Edmund Hoserol encountered more and more roadblocks to a productive scholarly life as a professor. He experienced increasing isolation and obstruction to his work. It was during this time that he wrote and gave lectures in Prague and Vienna. Those would become the crisis of European sciences and transcendental phenomenology.
