HBO Max: The One-Stop-Shot for Everything

Discovery Plus remains a standalone service. HBO Max on its own doesn't have enough of a connotation with either the things that it's best known for, which is Discovery or HBO. And at the end of the day, this is all done to compete with Netflix, to get every subscriber on the planet into the Max world. They want to be the one-stop-shot that has something for everyone the way that Netflix has become.
