The Importance of Prayer

In prayer we must not only speak, we must also listen. God talks to us more in meditation than in vocal prayer. Pertition is a very valid form of prayer but do not make all your prayers, prayers of petition. Do not think that God is reluctant about giving you favors. You will see a beggar on the other side of the street, they will turn a corner to get rid of him. There is not a one way street. It is a boulevard.
