The state you're leaving that has a high tax rate, they don't want you to leave. California will now audit your cell phone records. If your phone is pinging in Long Beach, they know you didn't move. And so they're going to literally look at your cell phone record to prove where you've been sleeping at night. So any of you that are like, oh, tell me how to do this and I'll just it's bogus, right? You can't say you've moved.
