Do All Languages Have Adjectives?

Linguistic theory says that all languages have adjectives, but some people disagree. We can basically distinguish two kinds of languages with an open class of adjectives and a closed class which has fewer than 80 possible. Even those with very small adjective inventories still might have two sets of adjectives that behave differently in various ways we'll be touching on as we go through the show.
