The Queen's Funeral

There have been some moving and odd tributes to the queen this week. Sport paid tribute in a number of ways, including postponement of Premier League fixtures as a mark of respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. British cycling criticised for recommending people do not ride their bicycles during the queen's funeral because it was 'disrespectful' But there were genuine and touching personal and institutional tributes that felt well-a bit odd.
