The Effects of MAB on the Immune System

The immune system can be fooled into thinking it is you by cancer cells. When a drug like Pembrolyzumab, another MAB, starts to attack the receptors that have been fooled by these cancer cells, your T cells are turned on and they destroy them extremely effectively. But two weeks later, three weeks later, four weeks later, perhaps four months later, perhaps five years later, something suddenly goes wrong. The patient could be in serious trouble.
