In one of your recent topics, you were talking about touches of class. I have a story relating to a friend and colleague of mine in Toulouse. She asked her parents if she could write to David to tell him how much she loved his series. Her parents said that it was a great idea, but that he'd probably not be able to reply. Several weeks later, they receive a handwritten reply from David himself. It's a touch of class, but it's also a touch of filing.
