The Benefits of Scaler for Git Statuses
The benefits really don't start showing up until you have about 10,000 files in your working directory. That's still taking 900 to 1000 milliseconds for Git statuses is not a great experience. You can do it just by setting core.fis monitor true and your Git config. It's one of those things where you don't need to know that feature exists or that's the config to turn it on.
