The Taste of Eggs

Ancient Greek scholar Athaneus ranked eggs by taste in his treatise on food. British zoologist Hugh Bamford-Cott started down this path using egg taste test panels made up of animals. Over Cott's human tasting panel, he served three scientists' omelets from 81 different species.
