The Moral Theory of Kant and Aquinas
The sense of the happiness focus is not as robust in in Kant I think as it is in Aquinas. With Kant, it's about discovering the categorical imperative and that you know like working through it's a deontological theory. Whereas for Aquinas the foundation for saying you ought to do something in Aquinas ultimately is going to ground that in the quest for happiness. We'll pause and say our help is in the name of the Lord.
