Mercedes' Performance Jump to Red Ball Is Track Specific
No major upgrades for Mercedes this week. So does that mean the jump in performance towards Red Ball was simply track specific? And we'll see that invert for other tracks. I think it's a combination of minor upgrades that they bought, which by looks of things were the addition of some extra little slots down by the the end fences on the front wing. They're designed to channel air over the diffuser and make it work more efficiently. The aerodynamic efficiency hasn't increased.
