The goal was to make it feel exactly like a smooth, matte piece of ceramic. And I think we actually succeeded. The idea is so that when you hold it in your hand, it feels really satisfying. But then also when it's in its docked mode and sits in your home, it doesn't feel out of placelike more traditional tablets with cold metal look.
