The Importance of Low Intensity

The biggest misconception of the polarized model is that because the tagline is you can go easier on the easy days so that you can go harder. And when I say low, you know, low is relative. Niels Von de Poldy's speed skater who did a really nice. kind of manifested off how he trained to break world records was doing 260 Watts on the bike for six hours in his low intensity sessions. So just so clear on what when we say easy, everything's relative here,. but for him who could hold 400 Watts for 90 minute three times 30 minutes. Yeah, 260 was low intensity.
