Sally Kohn: Most every woman I know can relate exactly to what you're saying. One of the corollaries is that we have girlfriended our partners. We want to be able to chitty chat with them and we waste the currency of their greatest superpower, which you say and others say is their attention. And then we also are encouraging culturally, which I think is a part of this, SIAP, men to feel their feelings. Isn't it time for men to get in touch with their emotions? She says there's a false premise in the middle of this argument - equating men being emotionally complex and mature beings with men being emotional.
