What's Happened Since the White House Shot Down the Chinese Balloon?

The last I checked his vice presidency was after 9 11. Most of the documents, according to the press reports, were from his time as VP. And it was clear that that he doesn't take it all that seriously. The Air Force might have shot down a frigging balloon launched by a high school science club. That is bizarre and why they're firing heat-seeking missiles from fighter jets at a high schoolscience project. They should understand that from a PR perspective.
