The Rise and Fall of Woodrow Wilson
Woodrow Wilson launched a massive propaganda campaign to get Americans on board with the war trying to instill hatred of Germans abroad and hatred of disloyalty at home. He imposed segregation in government positions, firing many black Americans from federal positions. Some anti-war activists got 20 years in prison for refusing to die for imperialist bickering. All in all, he was a thoroughly despicable guy with enough room in his agenda to oppress women, non white people, and wage imperialist war and occupy countless sovereign nations abroad. But you know, that's liberal scholars for you, everyone.
