The concept of a nudge in behavioral economics is very much the same. This is built on the work of Richard Thaler, who won the Nobel Prize in Economics for his work contributing to the field of behavioral economics back in 2017. A director of food services for a large city school system had the directors of dozens of school cafeterias changed the way the food was displayed on the line. Rearranging where items were located impacted their consumption by 25%.
