What Is Affinity Fraud?
The third type of fraud is affinity fraud. It means using scam tactics or investment fraud on people you would otherwise trust. In the US, there was a man who raised through a million dollars from 1,000 churches. He got away with it because he built that trust and became part of the community in these people's eyes.
