Is There a Risk Benefit Trade Off Between Genetics and Social Science?

The author says social science can get a benefit from intigrating genetics. He is cynical about the success of main stream psychology that's mostly ignored genetics thus far. The field has not been nearly as good as it could have been at identifying effective psychological interventions, educational interventions and social policies to help children succeed.
