The Importance of Language in Humanity
For most of the history or pre history of humanity, we lived as foraging people's hunter gatherers. And once you get beyond a certain population size, you can't support it as a hunter gatherer. So how did those early societies tackle these issues? Well one way is to develop technologies like digging stick and then farming later on. That allowed early societies to just develop higher population densities. It's basically dependent on population density. When you see famines, things like that, wars, that's when people run out of resources.
