Ike, I'm Voting for the Republican in a General Election
I like this as one more indication that we're on the brink. The primaries are run by the most extreme version of the party. And then gordon variety republicans, who don't necessarily even participate in primaries, that in a general election, oh, it's a republican versus a democrat. I vote for the republican because that's what i do. So you have a kind of one two punch, the extremism of the primaries matched with kind of unthinking partisan voting in the general.
