Castrado's Sobbing Affectation
The way the human voice works is that men and women both have a break in their voice between two different ways that the larynx can make sounds. Each register has its own sound quality, but there's a break between them. And what it appears is that boys whose voices have not broken,. can sing a whole bunch of notes above that break between the chast voice and the head voice. They can sing a number of high pitches with such power that no other human body could manage. Ray: Even a faded and badly recorded castrado voice would be astonishingly well conditioned to do this kind of singing.
