The Evolution of Intelligence

The human body doesn't appear to be set up to live more than about a century. So by analogy it could be the case that human intelligence has been carefully shaped by evolutionary pressures and is essentially maxed out. But even if this is the case we could in theory improve the intelligence expectancy of the population by pushing everyone up towards the ceiling. The main challenge we have with understanding it is we don't have a precise definition for it.
